Through my work I like to explore the mystery and secrets of collected and found objects placed together to give a feeling of a story. I like to give the sense of the unknown and explore light and dark themes within the painting. After completing a BA (hons) from Norwich School of Art and Design in Fine Art Painting I continued to show my work and explore these ideas further.

Painting is my first love, working in oil and pencil on board, working up from a sketch, underpainting, grisaille and final colour passes, working with hand-made gesso ground, using french white chalk and rabbit skin glue to prepare the boards to apply paint on, and using pigments working in grisaille layers and glazes to achieve my finished work.
